Hotel Review | Bibury farm barns
By Pete | August 2024
Recently we teamed up with the guys at Bibury farm barns to create some photo and video content, it really couldn’t have come at a better time for us. Half way through what seems a never ending home refurbishment project we spent 3 days at one of the 5 beautifully converted barns. The bull pen, designed by the amazing Pippa Paton was a real treat to photograph and more importantly rest and recover. Each barn has a slightly different design whilst keeping to its original architecture. The bull pen was kitted out with everything you need for a family or romantic getaway. Top of the range kitchen with everything you need to cook up a storm. everyone’s favourite coffee machine for that perfect morning brew. Smart tv and amazing Sonos speakers to play some music straight from your spotify account. I really could not recommend this more for the perfect escape in to the countryside
Nestled a short 10 minute stroll from Bibury village sits Bibury farm barn, surrounded by nature you can enjoy everything that the cotswolds has to offer. Our first day we had slow day exploring the local village, trying out the freshly caught trout at the Swan hotel and taking a walk along the famous Arlington row. On the second day we had a little much needed lay in and cooked up a nice breakfast with the local produce that was on offer at the barn. Don’t miss out on this! We then took the car out to visit the local villages, we really enjoyed Burford, Cirencester and Bourton on the water. Each village offered something slightly different so don’t miss out on these little gems. Our final day we set out to go and visit Blenheim palace a short 30-45 minute drive. We spent most of the morning there looking round the gardens and rooms before tucking into a delicious lunch before coming back.
Bibury barns couldn’t be more conveniently located to cater for all of your needs on a week or just a long weekend away.
