How travelling has changed my life

Plodding along in a fairly normal but mundane routine, i often found myself craving something a little different and wanting to change my life. Read further to find out how Traveling Changed My Life

Not knowing how, i spent so much time thinking it was my career path or financial situation that i needed to change. I couldn’t have been further from the truth! Until a good friend suggested we take a month out and travel one of the less travelled countries at the time INDIA. i was unaware of how different a backpacking trip was from a hotel package holiday.  This was the start of how travelling changed my life.

Turning up in india without any pre planning or itenary was probably one of our first of many mistakes but it has shaped the way i still travel today. if you do not plan to much you can be more spontaneous to go with the flow which is half of the fun of exploring in the first place. getting out of that routine and comfort zone and truly being free for the adventure that lies ahead.

The main things travel has taught me over the years :

Its good to be outside your comfort zone

Made me fall in love with photography

It feels good to try things you never thought you could

Only relying on yourself

appreciate the small things

Being open to meeting new people

More aware of the beauty in the world

Packing light for a 2 month adventure shows me you dont need alot of things to get by.

You are not a tree. You are not bound

to the ground you walk on. You have

wings and dreams and a heart full of

wonder. So pick up your feet and go.

Spread kindness like a wildflower

wherever you go. Fall in love with the

life you live, and always leave people

better than you found them.
